The world without photography will be meaningless to us if there is no light and color, which opens up our minds and expresses passion.
My style is a combination between photojournalism and fine-art photography with a touch of fashion and creative lighting. My photos are inspired by light, color, techniques from black & white processing, vintage photos, creative perspective, and of course, most importantly, the personalities of the people I photograph!
I take pictures of moments when the cricket ball leaves the bat and soars into the skies. When the ball leaves the foot and rockets into the net. When the shuttle leaves the racket and mesmerises the opponent. When fans leap with unbridled joy at the superhuman effort.
I capture the roar, when the bat is raised like a sword by the gladiator in a colosseum. I tell the stories of athletes who fight all their lives to succeed. I capture the boundless joy on the face of athletes when they succeed. Because in that moment, one can capture the years and years of hard work, struggles, toil and failures. I take pictures of humans who are normal like any other but they morph into super humans when they enter their play arena. I capture that moment when they shift from being human to becoming a superhuman on the field.
